I grew up in Southern California, frequenting the hot desert landscape of Joshua Tree as a child, until I escaped to the beach climate of the University of California, Irvine. Over the course of five years, I completed my studies and training in literary journalism, communications, and international politics. I lived in Seoul from 2012-2013 and also split my time between LA and the Bay Area.

In 2016, I moved to New York to start building my creative career. I currently work full-time at the CreativeMornings office in Brooklyn where I run our content strategy and brand communications. Prior to CreativeMornings, I served on the communications teams at Squarespace, Impact Hub Los Angeles, and Prain Global. I’ve also recently completed the wonderful experience of running editorial and content for the OKREAL community on a freelance basis. Favorite projects included crafting live digital stories for partnered events with Adidas, Lou & Grey, and Caudalie.

My current projects include SEOUL TRIBE (a new podcast about Korean artists and their music) and JOY128 (a seasonal gathering of likeminded Asian American women over food).
